Revlis – totally awesome to watch.  It’s a one woman show featuring Kristin Firth.  She plays Revlis a time traveler from the future.  Revlis herself is charming, sweet and innocence and fun to watch.  You root for her.  The smartass douchy Santa Claus looking guy found out the hard way, between Santa and Revlis, people will root for the girl in silver boots.  Although it’s a one woman show, she turns the audience into her scene partner.  It’s genius.  She’s from Austin too, who along with Pgraph, Girls Girls Girls reinforces my belief that Austin improv is awesome!

Megalou – I’ve been a fan of Megan Gray since Snake & Bunny performed at Improvaganza 2008.  I wasn’t able to see Megalou last year because they performed at laughtrack the same time I was performing at Marks Garage, so I’m glad to be able to this year.  I loved Megalou’s show and the more I think about it, it’s become my favorite show of 2011.  It was the small things they did that I found was the most hilarious, the subtlety in their dialogue, the fleshing of their environment like the many DVD players and the Atari system.  And their chemistry is incredible.

Super Mega Art Show – stole the show last year.  They were just as amazing this year.  Dartanion and Graham are capable of anything like getting huge laughs and even getting Hello Laser’s Alex’s father and the smartass douchy Santa to touch moustache and beard.

Galapagos – Like their showing last year was awesome.  I love that they use the entire space.  Last year they did a scene sitting at opposite ends in the audience.  This year Bill actually climbed a ladder in darkness for his scene.  I don’t like climbing ladders period.  I’m also a firm believer in the rule that there should always be an empty seat between two guys at the theater

Bunker 13 – Their aesthetics were great.  They had the uniforms, the green net thingee, tape recorder and even vintage playboys.  Very entertaining.  They had the suggestion of Batman vs. Superman which is something we’ve all argued about.   For the record, I think Superman would win, he can just be a dick, fly superfast and punch Batman so hard his head flies off.

OTS Hush.  OTS always puts on a great show and this is no exception.  Bonus points for the return of Jordan Savusa.  More bonus points for R in his costume of NosfeRatu.  Hilarious and somewhat unsettling, he’ll make you laugh and also look over shoulder to see if he’s there.
