We haven’t posted in a while. Sorry about that. But really we are working on getting things ready for the festival. The wristbands have come in, so have the fliers. Tonight we’re working on the T-shirts & buttons.  

Also we are having an Improvaganza pre-view night for press on Saturday, September 3rd featuring 3 of the local groups.  If you are in Honolulu please attend.  We hope that this will generate interest in the festival!! 

On Saturday, September 3, On The Spot presents IMPROVAGANZA PREVIEW NIGHT, at 8:00pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage. This evening will be a sneak preview of acts to be featured at the upcoming 6th Annual Improvaganza! 2011 Hawaii Festival of Improv to be held on Friday, September 23 & Saturday, September 24. The September 3 preview show will feature Something Classy, Chocolate Squirrel, and On the Spot (who will be performing their… critically acclaimed live action silent movie show “HUSH”).

After the performances, press and audience members are invited to stay for an exclusive meet and greet with some of the performers and production staff that will be involved with this year’s Improvaganza! festival. There will be a photo opportunity with the performers and refreshments will be served.

“Improvaganza Preview Night” plays Saturday, September 3, at 8:00pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Tickets are $15 general and $10 for students w/ ID and are available at the door one hour before show time. Advance tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006. The ARTS at Marks Garage is located at 1159 Nu‘uanu Ave. on the corner of Nu‘uanu and Pauahi Street in Downtown Honolulu, one block south of Beretania Street.
